Thanks to Richard Shorter for a really insightful and entertaining talk on 23/3/23. Richard works at the top level of UK sport with Premiership Football, RFU, GB Hockey and a host of others on Player / Parent / Coach relationships.

Richard shared thoughts on what kids want from parents and coaches, and also how parents and coaches can support their child's development. We heard some really good DO's and DON'T's about what feedback kids want to hear and more especially, what they don't. We also heard a little bit about how coaches and parents can get along with each other too.

If you want to find out more about the subject, please go online and look up the Non Perfect Dad.

We look forward to welcoming Richard back for the next session in September.
